Maria Bargh, AuthorDr Maria Bargh (Te Arawa, Ngāti Awa) is an associate professor at Te Kawa a Māui, Māori Studies, Te Herenga Waka: Victoria University of Wellington. Maria has a PhD in political science and international relations from the Australian National University, and a BA Hons in politics and English from Victoria University of Wellington. Maria has over two decades of experience researching and teaching Māori politics and has been involved for many years in looking at options to better protect Māori political and constitutional rights.
