A Tour of Qufu: The Hometown of Confucius

Traditional Chinese culture boasts voluminous classical works, marvelous art and literature, superb garden architecture, as well as profound philosophy. All of these can be found in Qufu, considered the cradle of Chinese culture thanks to Kongzi, the greatest thinker in Chinese history. Listed among the first group of 24 famous historical and cultural cities by the State Council in 1982, Qufu epitomizes the development of Chinese society and preserves cultural legacies for future generations.
