Trees and Shrubs of the Mariana Islands offers readers images and valuable information about 102 trees and shrubs that can be found around Guam and the Marianas. It is intended to serve as a guide to help the general public, school children, developers, and tourists identify, propagate/maintain, and learn about the natural history and uses of some of the more important trees and shrubs of the Mariana Islands. This is a revised edition of the book, which was originally published by Raulerson and Reinhart in 1991. The revised edition includes updated photographs, plant names and information and is printed to function as a field guide, with durable, laminated pages.

• Lynn Raulerson, Author

  Dr. Lynn Raulerson was a professor at the University of Guam since 1971 and a college instructor since 1959. She received her Ph.D. in biology with an emphasis in ecology from the University of Georgia in 1970 and was curator of the University of Guam Herbarium since 1981. Her research interests include the systematics of Micronesian plants, especially those of Guam and the other Mariana islands.
